The four African American activists on this shirt are all examples of initiating change in not only in their communities, but all around the country. Rosa Parks, Barack Obama, Jesse Jackson, and Muhammed Ali did not settle with just being a successful African American, they took it a step forward by forcing change to come. They never planned to be leaders of change, they just decided that enough was enough and they were not going to take any more injustices against their people. They did not sit back and let their enemies win, they fought for what they believed in and did not let anyone stop them. From protesting in the Montgomery Bus Boycott to becoming the first-ever Black president, these leaders initiate change in ways we never knew was possible. That’s why we must use our voices. The only way change can come is through us. MOGP is using its resources to allow you to start the conversation with your fellow peers. Wear your shirt with pride and make sure everyone knows change comes from just one person deciding enough is enough.
